I started this blog in order to expose Ron Paul. After I looked at the exit poll results from Iowa, I was horrified to find that Ron Paul's support came largely from 19-30 year old-males (my demographic). The problem is that the news media has consistently portrayed Paul as an honest man of principle who wants to protect liberty and the Constitution (when in actuality, he is a dishonest man who misunderstands the Constitution and liberty). Given his unique positioning in the Republican field, Paul's opponents have failed to attack him even as he launched blistering attacks on many of them. All of this has led to a situation where he has a huge national platform and yet his views has been incredibly unchallenged.

If the Republican field refuses to expose Ron Paul, I feel a moral obligation to do so. (Full disclosure: I am Democrat.) I am not rooting for any of the other Republican candidates. Rather, I believe his ideas to be so wrong, so morally obtuse, so dangerous, and so dishonest that he must be called out.

I know that as a random law school student this blog is unlikely to have an impact on the national debate. However, I ask that if you happen across this blog, please forward to to friends or family that you have who are considering supporting Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is the Worst because ... he believes the United States was in charge of the 9/11 terrorist attacks!!!!!!

Here's the back story on this one. Ron Paul made a comment a few years ago that said that we needed to research the "true" origins of 9/11. After this comment, he has spent years vigorously denying that he is thinks the United States government was responsible for perpetrating 9/11. The reason that his comment arose suspicion is that a "9/11 truther" is someone who believes that the US Government caused 9/11 in order to have an excuse to go to wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The craziness of the view can not be over-stated. Because that view is so extreme, I always assumed that Ron Paul did not really hold it.

Until I saw this video...

Why won't Ron Paul speak the "truth" about 9/11? "I can't handle the controversy."

What does this tell us?
1. Ron Paul believes the US Government caused 9/11 and is willing to say it when he doesn't know there are any cameras.
2. I never want to hear again about how "honest" Ron Paul is! He tells one thing to the national media and another thing to his supporters in secret.
3. Ron Paul is a bad and scary man.
